Agriculture in the state of Haryana is based on “Crop“ Livestock Production System” and animal rearing is not only deeply embedded in rural culture but livestock ownership is pride for many communities and animals contribute tremendously to the rural livelihood, women’s empowerment and nutritional security. Haryana posses some special dairy animal breeds among which world famous Murrah Buffalo, Sahiwal and Haryana cattle are some to mention. One of the most serious deterrents to livestock production is the menace of animal diseases of a wide variety affecting all species of farm animals all round the year and inflicting heavy mortality and morbidity. To address the issues related to Livestock Health and productivity availability of a credible and skilled human resource is the basic need of the sector. Therefore, Development of credible and skilled  human resource in the form of Paravet staff will not only address to a larger extent the health and production related problems to make it economically a viable enterprises, but will also provide job avenues to many aspirants seeking their carrier in the livestock Sector. The trust has thus contemplated to established an educational facility in the field of Veterinary Sciences so as to produce a technically credible human resource that will be able to provide service at farmers door step at an affordable cost and without time constraints. Presently college offers 2 years Livestock Development Diploma.
